Recycle Bin renamed
I returned to my computer after leaving it on overnight to find that my Recycle Bin has a new name ' ::{450D8FBA-AD25-11D0-98A8-0800361B1103}(2) '. I can't change it back. Help most appreciated. Windows XP Professional Install

I wonder how that came about... is the machine virus/malware free? Are you using registry cleaners and "tweak" tools? The Recycle Bin name is held in the registry at:HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}Look at the (Default) value, it stores the Recycle Bin name.If you can't rename it or if the Recycle Bin doesn't work properly reset it. Go tohttp://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and merge the "Replace/Repair the Recycle Bin in Windows XP" file to the registry, see line 64, right hand.John
