Recovery from automatic lock of desktop
When away from a computer for an extended period the OS, Win7, locks the computer, which is a good and expected thing to happen. One is then presented with the ability to put the password in for the currently logged in user. This doesn't work. The only way around this is to go to switch users and then reselect the logged in user and use the same password as before. Kind of annoying really. Is there a fix? Thanks Scott

Hi, According to your description, I suggest to perform these steps to troubleshoot the issue: 1 Login with Safe Mode to see if the same issue occurs 2 Use on screen keyboard and type password with it to login 1) Click “Start” 2) Input “Programs and Features” in Search Box and press Enter 3) Click “Turn Windows Features on or off” 4) Find “Tablet PC components”, choose it and click “OK’ 3 Create another user account for test. Hope it helps. Regards, Leo HuangPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
