The inbox.dbx file used by Outlook Express is over 2 GB (maximum limit) and I cannot open it neither read messages.I renamed it and made OE create a new one. If I try to open my old .dbx file I get a message saying that another appication is using it.I see from Google that lots of freeware or shareware or business tools are supposed to let recovering damaged .dbx files. Before using third party tools is there any Microsoft tool I can use to attempt recovering my corrupt .dbx file or at least extract messages?Season's greetings and regardsMarius 1 person got this answerI do too
