If you did not choose to save the user's files, then you will need to recover the data from your backups. If you didn't make backups, then possibly data recovery software would work. If you want to go this route, stop using the computer immediately until you do the data recovery. thank you for the quick reply--- I'll give this a try, not a big deal if not recovered--some pictures that would be nice to have again-- (& this time save to disk !) thanks
