Recommendation for global wireless USB adapter (for 64-bit W7 laptop)
Is there a wireless USB adapter that I can use on different continents? I met a guy in Australia who had one from "Optus", he could get Internet access anywhere there was a mobile phone signal for a prepaid fee ($100 for 50GB I think). This would be perfect for me, I will be in Europe and Latin America during the rest of this year. But is there something I can get here, that will work on different networks, or do I need to buy hardware in each country/continent? I've read that USB adapters are sometimes dual band, like cell phones are quad band, so I assume that's a must-have feature for me. I have an HP dv3t, running 64-bit W7 Home Edition.
