Recently downloaded Windows XP mode and cannot access company's vpn.
I am having the time of my life trying to access my company's website with the contivity vpn connection. I have downloaded the windows virtual pc and windows xp mode, since the program only works with windows xp.I keep getting the following errors: checking for banner text from: vgate1.mcgraw-hill.com and the seure contivity vpn connection has been lost. Click connect ot re-establish the connection.I have installed and uninstalled the program several times, along with restarting the machine. I have called hp helpdesk and my company's helpdesk and no one has been able to help me. I have also uninstalled and re-installed the windows virtual pc and windows xp mode and restarted the computer. I was able to install the program on my father's dell computer and I looked at his network adapter which is intel (R) Pro/100 VE network connection and the network adapter on my hp computer is intel 21140-based PCI fast ethernet adapter (generic). I do not know if its a network adapter problem, and if it is how do I go able using the network adapter in windows 7 or adding a new network adapter to windows xp mode.I would appreciate any help you can give me. This is just confusing for the average person. Thank you in advance for your help and assistance.2 people need an answerI do too

Hey all , Go to Start > Virtual PC > right clock XP Mode and go to Settings, change the network adapter from Shared( NAT) to the adapter, should read (Intel somthing) this is bridged mode, this should work for you.
