Recently Restored Windows XP proffessional, when i plug in my ethernet cord, it doesnt show the connection
Windows XP Proffessional, Just restored it, after a wipe from a virus, it wont let me connect to the internet, and the connection doesnt show when i plug the ethernet cord in. help1 person needs an answerI do too

Depends upon what brand of PC and ethernet adapter you have. I'd start by going to the website of your PC's manufacturer (Dell. Gateway. HP. Whomever) then going to the "Support" or "Download" pages and look for a place to download drivers.One other thing you could try on the PC other than new drivers is to reset TCP/IP with NetShell.
