Receivng someone elses unread email tally
How do I stop receiving someone elses unread email tally? When I start-up my computer in the morning, the system tells me I have 44 unread emails. My email address is listed as well as someone in my Outlook Express address book. I contacted that person who DOES NOT have 44 unread emails. We agreed to delete each other from our address books last night but the 44 unread email tally is still showing up on my start-up page this morning. All my virus software is up-to-date. How do I resolve this problem?1 person needs an answerI do too

In a Run window (Windows key+R), type regedit, press Enter and in the left pane navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail\[Your EMail Address] In the right pane, right-click MessageCount, click Modify and change the value to 0 (zero).
