Reccommend a remote network administration solution
Hi, i'm looking to deploy portable computers to small businesses whereby i will be able to connect to one or more computers (win7) and run scripts or transfer files simultaneously from a central computer. I'll be setting the computers up initially, but after that they will need to be controlled remotely. I've searched for the past few days for some sort of solution, but have only found programs that can connect via RDP or VNC, which appear to only be controllable one at a time. I dont know where to go at this point, am i mistaken in thinking this is possible? I'm not versed in networking, so it's not possible for me at this point to learn all the complexities of the craft, so if anyone knows of a method of doing this that doesnt require a degree i would appreciate your input.

Hi, Over same network, remote access is only possible by RDP or third party software like VNC/Team viewer & Network file sharing... Over Internet, Remote access is possible by RDP & again third party software like Team viewer & Network file sharing can be donw easily by using Hamachi... Look Here -- after setting Hamachi you can use mstsc to access PC over internet... btw you can use mstsc to access more than two PC simultaneously from same PC... depends upon your network Speed. --Harjit

Logmein Pro was what i was looking for. Would be nice if there were a method of doing this that didnt involve a 3rd party.

That doesnt really address the issue. The only computer that will be doing anything is the central one, all the others are just for offline use. The central computer will need to access a group of remote computers to change settings or transfer files to the remote computers, all simultaneously. Ive been through countless programs trying to find something that can do this simple task, but the only ones that claim to be capable of this have problems logging in, even though my test computers are completely open and work well with RDP. Does this really not exist? All im asking to do is connect to multiple computers and issue commands to them simultaneously.
