Rebooting computer /windows 8

I have been trying for months now to solve this. I have read and tried things but still same issue. This started after installing windows 8 pro. I have changed everything power supply and power cord monitor and monitor cables and the video card 2 times still does the same thing. I have unchecked the automatic restart box and it stills reboots but no BSOD. I did get a box to pop up and i wish i had wrote down what is said but it said something like AMD driver has stopped responding but has recovered.  I went and checked to see if the video card driver was up to date and it was. I do not know where to go from here this is my sister computer and she does not want to go back to windows xp she loves windows 8. She said the rebooting has gotten worse. Here is what she sent to me the last time it did it.

ok, it's back...rebooting...this time I did notice "monitor going to sleep before it rebooted... it had a error report and asked if i wanted to send to microsoft..i did...here it is...3 of em.. #1 C:\windows\minidump\063013-21481-01.dmp #2 C:\windows\users\sherryburke\app data\ local temp\WER-35661-0.sysdata.xml #3 C:windows\memory.dmp

Any ideas i am willing to have her to try i just had the computer here with for a few weeks and after changing the video card it did not do it any more so i shipped it back to her. She had already had her husband change the video card once before and problem went away for a few months then it came back. I had found the video card she had her husband put in was bad it had leaking caps. The video card that is in there was mine i had been using it on my windows 8 computer with no problems It is a Radeon HD 5770

I had her to look in device manager because I was sure I downloaded the newest driver before I shipped it back to her and it does have the newest one. I told her to uninstall the driver then install again. Now we will see how that goes.
