I have an ad hoc network, just 2 computers with a shared folder on 1 of them. Up until last night when the Vista machine went through an update, the 2 machines were sharing the folder with no problems. This morning I get in, I can still see the folder from the 2nd machine, I can browse and access one folder that I added yesterday, but, otherwise, I can no longer open any other files. Everytime I uncheck the Read Only box (it is solid blue, which should be ignored, but, it's not), it reverts back. I get error messages stating that I cannot open the Read Only file named whatever on this machine. Any suggestions? Thanks!
