If you have the opportunity to get bitlocker removed, then why don't you do that?Or do I misunderstand and you are asking IF there IS a way to get it removed?

Yes is there is a way to get it removed BitLocker without a key. Since I have lost the key and the information that comes when you create BitLocker.

If you do not have the recovery key (or if you did not set up a recovery agent which not an automatic task when you enable BitLocker) there is no way to get to the data. That is the whole point with using BitLocker, to protect the data.

As Andreas said, if the Recovery key or password is missing, the drive cannot be accessed and the data will not be loaded. If you would like to continue to use the drive, you have to reformat it.For more information, please refer to the link below:Windows 7Thanks,Novak
