Re-installing 2nd Window XP
Due to current volume in c:\ partition is too small, I have chosen a bigger partition for re-installing of Window XP. When restart, it shows 2 options of Window XP Home & prompts me to chose one.Although I failed to format the c:\ but I had deleted all except a few system files.Q1: May I know how to delete the old Window XP Home option?Q2: For the few system files remain in C:\, how should I delete them as well? Thanks & regards,Lawrence1 person needs an answerI do too

You could have used a third party tool eg Partition Magic to expend your partition.Your current C is the boot drive containing the boot info, you have now installed an instance of win to which drive? You cannot format C without destroying the boot record, thereby rendering your PC unbootable. If you havent gone to far, and have data backups, boot from the winxp cd and install it correctly, by deleting all partitions. It makes no real sense to have multiple partitions of a single drive.http://michaelstevenstech.com/cleanxpinstall.html
