This is most often caused by bad hardware. Googling around produced this link with quite a lot of troubleshooting suggestions: http://www.techsupportforum.com/microsoft-support/windows-xp-support/181457-stop-0x000000f4.html Since you forgot to say why "none of the articles" are relevant and what you've already tried (if anything), I suggest you go through the hardware testing the posters in the link above did.
