Since installing Windows 7 RC1 on my HP tx2000 tablet PC as a fresh install (did not reformat drive) - while using my machine I seemingly randomly have the system sound play that sounds like the "hardware disconnect" sound. Don't have any hardware that's disconnecting - only USB items connected are a Logitech wireless trackball and a Seagate Free Agent 1 TB external hard drive. Any thoughts on what might be causing Win7 RC1 to randomly play the system sound?

Hi JohnThis has been reported as a bug in W7.Try going to Control Panel/Sounds and turning all of the sounds off. Reboot and enable the sounds again.
