Hi, The ntoskrnl.exe is responsible for various system services such as hardware virtualization, process and memory management, etc. The nvlddmkm.sys is a component of the NVIDIA graphic card driver. For more information, please refer to the following link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ntoskrnl Note: Since the web site is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information. Based on the current situation, I would like to suggest you only insert one memory stick to test the issue. Although the memory is good, they may still conflict each other. Please also uninstall the current installed graphic card driver and reinstall the latest version of the NVIDIA GeForce 8800GTS video card driver for Windows 7 from the following link: http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7-winvista-64bit-258.96-whql-driver.html Note: The third-party product discussed here is manufactured by a company that is independent of Microsoft. We make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this product's performance or reliability. If the issue persists, you may also try to install the Windows 7 built-in basic video card driver to test the issue. If the issue persists, you may contact Microsoft Customer Service and Support (CSS) via telephone so that a dedicated Support Professional can assist with your request. To troubleshoot this kind of kernel crash issue, we need to debug the crashed system dump. Unfortunately, debugging is beyond what we can do in the forum. Please be advised that contacting phone support will be a charged call. To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request please take a look at the web site listed below: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;OfferProPhone#faq607 Regards, Arthur Li TechNet Subscriber Support in forum If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com.
