Random BSOD

Hi guys,

I can't seem to figure why my laptop randomly crashes and restart. Can someone please take a look at the crash log and memory dump for me. I have no idea how to read them. I can confirm that my laptop does not have overheating issues. It's brand new. The only thing that I've done to it is to share my wired connection over wifi via ad-hoc networking. Could that cause a problem?

The first thing you want to do is to go into your system control panel and change to small/kernel dump (~256Kb) as it is much easier for you to upload and easier for us to download as well.

Two issues:

1-athw8x.sys (your Atheros wifi driver)  I would re-install the newest driver available

2- The probable cause is Related to k57nd60a.sys NetLink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet NDIS6.x Unified Driver. from Broadcom Corporation  Again I would re-install the newest driver available.

Cant tell you much more about drivers because this DMP is incomplete.  If you continue to crash please upload the kernel mode DMP (~256Kb instead of the 77Mb this one was)

BugCheck D1, {0, 2, 1, fffff8800394fd6e}
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for athw8x.sys
Probably caused by : k57nd60a.sys ( k57nd60a!UM_ReturnNetBufferList+c6 )

Thank you so much for your reply. I will change the dump size and try your solution.
