Ran SFC /Scannow and found unfixable corrupt files?
I ran sfc /scannow and was advised that Windows Resource Protection had found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them and the reference given was "C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log". So opening the log file from note pad I tried to manually search for strings with "cannot repair" but found zero. So how come it reports as such and cannot find the files within it's log that are corrupted. Also tried this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833 article referred to me by a forum member on my previous query but that did not also show the files in question. It produced a 0 byte txt file "sfcdetails". I hope I don't really have corrupt files. If it helps I'll attach the cbs.log file or paste it here. http://www.mediafire.com/?0yynm2tzb4o > this is the log..... Wish somebody could check it out for me

Can you upload your log to your public folder in the SkyDrive for analyzing? Since I can't download the log from the link you posted, it's better to upload the file to the Skydrive. John

After I look into the CBS log, I don't find any files are corrupted. You can run the following command: findstr /C:"[SR] " %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >sfcdetails.txtthen you can open the sfcdetails.txt file to find out if there is corrupted file.I hope this can help you. John
