RRAS won't disconnect lost connection
I have windows server 2008 R2 datacenter installed with service pack 2 installed. I have routing and remote access started. My client PCs are windows XP and Vista. They can dial in across the internet using a VPN setup on the router. If they turn the PC off without disconnecting the connection such as a power outage the server still retains the connection and will not allow them to dial back in.If I go to the server and try to disconnect the RRAS connection or stop the RRAS service the server hangs until I reboot it.NAP is not installed. I get no event messages. Any suggestions?
