RPC server unavailable in Time & Date autosinc ?
Windows XP > Control Panel > Date & Time > Internet Time > Auto Synchronize > Server: time.windows.com > Update Now > ERROR: An error occurred getting the status of the last synchronization. The RPC server is unavailable. ??? 2 people need an answerI do too

I think this problem also caused computer start up error messages. At start up there were error messages about the time and set up. Pushing F1 at such startup error messages caused the computer to start OK, but the clock was off and although I could set the clock manually, the clock box showed the error message described in this thread. When I restarted the computer, the problem would happend again. And the clock would be off again.I tired the fix. The fix worked. Thanks.
