RDS Settings for Windows 7 Enterprise
Is there a way to change the timeout, disconnect and logoff settings for Windows 7 RDS as we have with the Terminal Services Configuration Snap-In (TSCC.MSC) in Windows 2003? Otherwise is there a way to manipulate the settings via the registry or any other means? What I am finding is that after I disconnect from a remote session into the windows 7 desktop via RDS,the session will eventually time out and log my user off, instead of the Windows XP behaviour of simply disconnecting (keeping the computer locked.) When I remote into the desktop, disconnect from that remote session, then return to the actual machine, I am logged off and along with all my open programs.Thanks.

You could set it via registry settings but instead I recommend that you use group policies, which basically is a central way of changing settings (which in the end is just a bunch of registry settings). If you are only changing the settings on your local machine start gpedit.msc and go to Computer configuration - Administrative templates - Windows Components - Remote Desktop Services - Remote Desktop Session Host and finally Session Time Limits.
