RDP to Win2008 servers fail
When using Remote Destktop on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and trying to connect to Windows 2008r2 I get "Remote Desktop Connection has stopped working" and it crashes. Though I can connect to Windows 2003 servers with no problem at all. I have tried to connect
to 2 different Windows 2008 servers with the same result, it only effects me on Win2008 servers. I also tried this from a different user on the same machine with the same result. Thanks in advance, -Drokare

Hi Drokare,
Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet forums.
Before going further, I would appreciate if you can clarify the following question:
1.
When did this issue begin to occur? Has it ever worked before?
2.
Will the computer running Windows XP\Windows Vista\Windows 2003\Windows 2008 connect to the Windows 2008r2 using Remote Desktop?
I suggest boot into
Safe Mode with networking to troubleshoot in case this issue is due to incompatible hardware driver.
