RDP fails on reconnect

Connecting to desktop (XP or 7, one of each) from notebook (Windows 7) in the field - RDP works the first time, but the desktop must be restarted before it will work again - reconnecting just fails because the desktop is locked as though the
connection is still open. This just started on Monday of this week and I'm assuming it is the work of a dreaded Microsoft Upbreak on the Windows 7 notebooks because RDP from an XP notebook to either of the desktops works every time. Please advise,
and please ask if the wording of this message puzzles you.
Thanks in advance.

Are there any traces in Event logs? Is there any change in the route between computers?

Milos

Hi,

Could you please share me the detail error message for RDP fails?

Try to logon with
Clean Boot and restart Remote Desktop services to see if the same issue occurs.

If the issue persists, you can also try to perform a system restore for test.
