RDP Windows XP Pro Connection Problem
Situation:Office A has five computers on a peer-to-peer network. The "server" listening port is 3389 and the other four are 3390-3394. IP addresses are static. User at Office B can successfully connect to the "server" using RDP, but not to the others (This computer cannot connect to the remote computer....."). The same connectoid she's using is successful from two other users' home computers. When I remote into a PC using LogMeIn after she has an unsuccessful attempt to connect, it shows the user name as xxx.xx.xxx.x\elaine (the remote computer's ip address minus the :3390 followed by the user name in the saved RDP connectoid). Any ideas why user's connectoid at Office Bis adding the ip address and not just entering the user name?Thanks!1 person needs an answerI do too
