RDC via SBS2003/RWW - Connecting all but 1
Hey all, I've got a weird one here. I have 1 Windows 7 Pro box that I just can't connect to via Remote Desktop Connection or Remote Web Workplace. I have 5 Desktops and 1 server on the LAN. 4 users can connect via Remote Web Workplace to their PC's from home. If I do some random testing I can connect to 4 of these computers from any of the other 5 here in the office. So, there's connecting from the inside and the outside. It all works, except 1... One of my PC's will not accept a connection or reply to a ping. It has network connectivity, in fact I'm using it to write this up ;) but you just can't connect to it from RWW (remotely) / RDC (from the lan). I've turned the firewall on/off - no ping / RDC. In the Power Options I've set Sleep to Never. On the SBS2003 server all computer accounts are in the same OU and, presumably, restricted by the same policies. I've used the mac addresses to create DHCP reservations for all computers and they all get the right IP's. DNS reflects the DHCP reservations. I'm really at a loss here and I know it's a sliver of a setting. If someone can hook a brother up that would be cool. Thanks in advance, TT

You need to configure the remote desktop connection settings in Windows 7. Please choose “Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop (less secure)” in order to allow connections that is not Network Level authentication based.
