I wonder why I connect from a XP machine to a Vista machine uing RDC- Remote Desktop cinnection? I get a message the authenication failed. thanks

DId you try to create another user account and grant that user the right to use Remote Desktop?

I am using the administrator account to log on so that user has the right to log on.

I means creating another user with admin right and grant it the Remote Desktop permission.

I will try this on beta build 5536 which I just downloaded assuming it will install. I tried to install as an upgrade and it failed.

I can't resolve this as instalaltion of Vista 5366 fails.
