Hey. I downloaded the 7 from a different source a few days ago. Here is the only thing I know about it: that it says on the bottom right corner of my desktop that it's a "Build 7100". I am wondering, then, if I the version released today is the same as the one I have. If it's not, then I am thinking I should probably have the latest one, as it may fix some of my problams. If it is the latest one, then I can be quite about it. Thanks!

I would encourage you to d/l the one from MS, and install that. It really is no big deal to do a re-install (never do an update), and that way you KNOW for sure! Yes, know full well about the ones that have been on torrent for a couple of weeks. Some are, some aren't. Anyone can hack any build to say any build number they want. Kris
