RC download corrupt?
I've been trying to download the 32 bit RC ISO file, but every time it gets to 100% complete it freaks out, tells me it'scorruptand deletes itself. Has anyone else using Windows 7 beta encountered this or is it just me? By the way, thought I'd try downloading it on my Mac, the download page doesn't even open.....

You do need to use IE to download it. I would suggest going into Tools / Internet Options / General tab - Browsing history : click delete button. Then try again. If problems persist, I would suggest picking a different area on disk (different partition) to store the file.Kris

try firefox. it has its own dl manager, and it works. "you need to use IE", that's not true.Mobile AMD64 3000+, VIA Apollo K8T800 chipset, 1 G RAM, ATIRadeonMobility 9700, 20x DVDRW, C:XPSP3 (55G),D:WIN7 (25G),F:DATA (250G)

Mike_Germany & SanMartin I just started it in FF and it's running at 1.53mb/s . I'll let you know what happens when it finishes. (for some reason it allowed me to choose a partition, but not create a folder, so I just created it in that partitions root.) ( it asked me to run the MS d/l manager and I clicked "run") later 20% done - 22 min left............ EDIT - it went through the integrity check and said finished, so I assume it is perfect. (understand that this is a brandy new fresh install of win7, and FF was completely re-installed as the cache stuff in FEBE was bad.) Hope that helps! - - - Kris -------- current status of the toy: Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P, E7200 2.53@3.63ghz, 2x2GB OCZ Reaper1150@1146, EVGA 9800GTX+ N863 , BFG GS-650, Win 7 7137
