RC: Control Panel crashes Windows Explorer
I open the Control Panel, click on System and Security, then click on Windows Update. Then I click the Back arrow twice in rapid succession (faster than the panels can finish redisplaying). When I get back to the main Control Panel panel, Windows Explorer crashes. But if I click slightly more slowly instead (giving the panels time to finish redisplaying), the crash does not occur. I've seen this today on two 7100x64 computers. Specs for one of them as follows: GA-P35-DS3Lr2(F8) Q9450 OCZ8500(4GB) GTX260(182.50; WDDM1.1/185.85) 3xWDGreenPower(1TB)SATA WinTV1600 GGW-H20L 3007WFP(2560x1600) 6.1.7100x64 Avast4.8.1335 PowerDVD7.3.5113.0

I am on Windows 7 Ultimate RC Build 7100 32 bit,AMD X2, RadeonX1800 2gb Ram I have the final version of Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and I get the same problem you people get. Microsoft needs to provide us a patch through Windows Update to resolve this issue.

It's a problem Microsoft! Please fix this. As soon as I open control panel, if I click on anything (even single click) before all the icons have appeared it hangs and crashes!!
