I have the same problem - common point is the Asus P5Q SE mboard. Any sleep event causes the BIOS to reset to default values.

Same issue here, just installed Windows 7 64bit edition on ASUS P5Q Deluxe. Other notable hardware SkyStar 2 PCI card with BDA drivers installed. When it sleeps (hyrid sleep as per default) the BIOS gets reset. Phil

Possible solution here : http://www.sevenforums.com/network-internet/2959-sleep-issues-fixed.html I opted to keep the allow device to bring computer out of sleep checked, but additionally checked the magic packet only option. After a quick test, sleep works fine & I can bring it out of sleep remotely by sending it the magic packet :-))) Hope this works for you, cheers Phil
