Public folders.
Why did they go and hide public folders? They should be a lot easier to access than what they are with 7, at least have a shortcut on the start menu, I don't think MS know how much public folders can get used.

Hi DynaThe Libraries component has changed a lot of the traditional views in Windows Explorer. You can ceate a new Library with the source as the Public folder to move it to the top of the Navigation Pane in Windows Explorer. If you want it pinned to the Start Menu, select the C:Users folder, in the right pane, right click the Public folder and select Create Shortcut. The shortcut will be placed on the Desktop. Drag the shortcut and drop it on the Start Button to pin it.Hope this helps.Thank You for testing Windows 7 Ronnie Vernon MVP

I agree with Dyna - this is critical a critical facility and needs to be better documented. Most families share a computer. The 'individual accounts' featurewas an essential enhancement and I've been using it since XP. But we also need "Family" folders for shared content. XP had "Shared Folders", Vista called it "Public Folders" but in Windows-7 it is squirelled away. So I've found C:Users\Public , but I can't find any description of how to create a new Library! I'll keep experimenting but this is something that still needs to be added to the Help system.Thank you for giving us the opportunity to try Windows 7.Ruadhraigh
