Once installed open it and choose Do a system scan only. Look at all the R1 entries. If your internet traffic is being redirected through a proxy is will be listed there. An example is below. You can place a check mark in the box next to the entry in Hijack This then click on fix checked near the bottom.R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = http=127.0.0.1:59274If you see such an entry, chances are very good your computer is infected with malware. Perform full scans with the following scanners.Malwarebytes.orgSuperantispy-portableTo reset your internet click start > Run > type inetcpl.cpl > press Enter. Click on the Connections tab > LAN settings button. Place a check mark in the box to auto detect settings.
