Do you mean that only some programs such as IE works properly but other programs not, or the proxy settings worked but after a while it does not work? How do you configure the proxy settings? In Windows 7, if you have to connect to Internet via proxy, configuring proxy setting for IE is not enough. You need to set global proxy setting with the command line netsh winhttp set proxy Netsh Commands for Windows Hypertext Transfer Protocol (WINHTTP) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc731131(WS.10).aspxPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Hi The proxy settings policy applied for some time and it will disable after some time. The steps are as follows · Open Active Directory Users and Computers and Right Click the Test OU and Properties à Group Policy Tab à Click on New. · Right click the Policy and Click on Edit. · User Configuration à Policies à Windows Settings à Internet Explorer Maintenance à Connection à Proxy Settings à Select the Enable Proxy Settings and Mention Proxy address. · Close the GPO and run the gpupdate /force in Both the Server and Client. · Check the IE Proxy Settings on the Client System.
