Provision MBAM Certificate
I'm having a problme with setting up a 3 Computer scenario for MBAM. Here is a what I have.. MBAM Server 1 - Recovery and Hardware Database, Compliance and Audit Database, and Compliance and Audit Reports MBAM Server 2 - Adminstration and Monitoring Server The Policy Template will be loaded on the GPO Servers. When I go through the MBAM setup I get to the part of configureing the Network Communication and the first option "Use a Certificate to encrypt the network communication" is greyed out. How do I provision the MBAM Server with a Certificate?

It wasn't greyed out for me when I went through but for some reason the last time I ran through the setup the certificate didn't appear so I had to manually create one. Do you have IIS on the server? That's the only reason I could think of as to why it would be greyed out.PLEASE MARK ANY ANSWERS TO HELP OTHERS Blog: rorymon.com Twitter: @Rorymon

You need to create a server certificate for each mbam server. You can create the request in IIS using the server template to create your csr and then send the csr off to a certificate authority. They will send you back a cert and then you can complete the install of the cert, just like you would and ssl cert for iis.
