sir i have a dell inspiron 1545 laptop...all of a sudden the programs which i have installed on my win 7 32 bit are not listed in the 'Programs and Features' window...only 3 to 4 of the programs are shown...but infact i have installed 5 gb of various programs...what is the problem sir? pls let me know...this happened after i was running the Dell support centre which was scanning the hardware at that time.

The quick and easy solution: WIN | type Restore Point | choose Restore System Files and Settings from a Restore point | NEXT button | from the list of restore points, highlight the desired restore point | click on Scan for affected programs (this will let up know whaat programs/updates that you may need to reinstall) | Close button | NEXT button | FINISH button WIN is the key with the wavy Microsoft flag.
