Program Files - QuickTime security lock
Win 7 Ultimate SP1 (32 bit)
I went to update QuickTime to 7.7.3 on system and it failed with "no permission to access". Update on other win7 systems went OK.
I checked program files for quick time (security settings) and found current owner: Unable to display current owner.
If I try to change owner, it fails: Access is denied.
i spot checked other objects in Program Files and their security settings were OK.

Best to check the QuickTime FAQs. If you have the problem then other QuickTime users probably had it too, and resolved it.
