Program/App Performance??? HELP

Hello,

Hi! So ~somehow~ a window popped up on Windows 8.1 and it showed certain programs: DotA 2, Chrome, and Popcorn Time. Next to each listed item was a drop down folder for the performance of each program, like Power Saver, Balanced, and High Performance (I am *not* talking about my battery performance). I changed Popcorn time from Power Saver to High Performance and for some reason it isn't working because of that. For the life of me, I cannot find the "Program Performance Settings" page that I accidentally opened in the first place. Do you know where I can access this folder??

Please help... I love my games but I must be John Snow cause I know nothing :(

Thanks,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

What's your model of computer, desktop PC, laptop or tablet?

Windows 8.1 system itself has no this function for every programs. Did you have any third-party power management software installed by yourself or OEM to handle that function you mentioned?

While from your description I cannot say with certainty, I suspect you might be talking about performance profiles provided by a graphics driver, such as NVIDIA Control PanelManage 3D Settings or NVIDIA GeForce Experience.
