After logging onto my server at the office with RWW from my laptop, logging off, and then coming home and starting up my laptop, my desktop on my laptohad completely changed. I lost all my applications pinned to the task bar and there were a number of new icons on my desktop that are on the server desktop. Now I have 2 Recycle bins and icons on my laptopfor a couple of applications that are installed on the server, but not on my laptop. These icons on my laptop desktop are not shown as shortcuts. They link to the application on the server. I would like to get rid of them on my laptop, but am afraid of affecting the application on the server. I am a network admin. I have folder redirect active for this user account on the server. I have decided to set up a different user soley for the purpose of logging onto the server, but am still faced with the problem of my messed up desktop.Help would be appreciated.
