I'm going to have you try something.
go into control panel
find the uninstall a program and select it
in the left side of window click view installed updates
find these 2 updates listed below and uninstall them.
KB2492386
KB982018
Uninstalling these 2 updates (if they are installed) will not hurt anything and if your still experiencing the reboots after they have been removed you can always let windows update reinstall them for you....
If it does work do not let windows update reinstall them.
These 2 updates pertain to newer SSD and SAS harddrives and might cause an issue on systems that don't have them installed.

if you don't have them you may not need them. one other thing I'd like you to try,
press the windows key and the pause/break keys to view info about your PC
at the bottom of this it says windows activation.... does it say windows is activated?

It says windows is activated.
I have no idea what it is.

OK then this should not be an issue if I tell you to try this
1. open a command prompt from accessories by right clicking it and select open as administrator
2. copy whats below
slmgr.vbs -rearm
3. In the command prompt window type the above or right click -> paste:
4. Reboot and your you should be good to go~!
let me know if it works and do not flag this as an answer IF it does work, MS might get upset if everyone is using it.

Oke This is what i did:
I typed in command prompt slmgr.vbs -rearm
After that i had to reboot my computer.
But no luck again iv'e tryed so many things but the crash wont stop.
I noticed when i start up my computer and when i get to the motherboard screen it crashes too.
Could it be hardware Issue?
I've tested my memory already but no errors.
And my Hard disk didnt have any errors.

k try updating your motherboard BIOS and any other motherboard related updates your PC manufacturer may have for you to download, also try updating your video card drivers
Also open your case and check for possible excessive dust blocking the fins on the heat sink of your processor and video card.

Hi,
My computer is brand new so i dont think it's the dust.
If i update the bios and it freezes what will happen then?
Sys Setup:
Amd phenom ii x4 965
Asrock 870 extreme3
Ocz 700W
1TB samsung Spinpoint h1
Ati Sapphire radeon hd 5770
Windows Home premium 64 bit.
Event viewer says its a
Kernel power Issue and Kern power processor.
Any Idea's?

ok since your PC is new it shouldn't be a dust issue. You've updated all your motherboard related software and drivers, So unfortunately at this point all I can really say is to try reload your system and stay away from windows update Service Pack
cause I believe that it seems to be the culprit in a lot of these BSOD's and reboot issues.
Try checking the date on which you downloaded the service pack in uninstall programs, then look at the dates in event viewer from when they started and see if they match up. I'm betting they do (I don't think it is a windows genuine advantage issue causing
the BSOD's. So they had to have added something incompatible to the SP that is messing up a lot of PC's in my opinion)
You can check the service pack forum before restoring you PC, but I'm afraid I'm stumped at this point.
I'm curious do you have any errors listed in event viewer? I know you have critical event but I'm curious about the errors and warnings.... cause ever since I took on the service pack I've had database errors (of which I'm rebuilding at this moment) you
may also need to rebuild your index.

Hey,
Im running windows in safe mode now and it seems its not crashing in windows safe mode.
I think im going to reinstall windows and see if the freeze is still there.
In event viewer i can see the critical errors.

Iv'e posted on some other forums and they say my power supply is to low.
May 1st, 2011 10:07am
If you bought this from a manufacturer I wouldn't believe the power being to low, they usually calculate it in a way that there is just enough to run things (unless of coarse you place a highend video card or extra hard drives into the system then its quite
possible).
I also am still getting the kernal power 41 event an know for a fact the current power supply in my system is well above and beyond what I currently need for power. My kernal power 41 issue is cause by a marvel raid driver for my hard drives I have that windows
7 seems to have an issue with.
Hence my reason for asking about event errors I already know what your critical error is :)
