Problems with external Monitor which required higher dpi value
<!-- @page { margin: 2cm } P { margin-bottom: 0.21cm } --> Hello, I have got a Problem and a Question. I do have a Laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium. I'm using this Computer normally as Laptop with the internal Monitor. But sometimes I'm connecting a external Flat TV as Monitor an using this one as multimedia computer in the living room. The Problem now is the DPI value. The internal Monitor required a normal DPI value and the flat TV a higher value because of the HDTV-resolution on 40". I don't want to change the HDTV resolution on the flat TV because I want to get a clear picture (native panel resolution). So when I setting the dpi value right for the TV and restart the system next day with the internal monitor I can't see my log-in buttons because of the wrong dpi value. I think it's not possible to switch the dpi value automatically by a special TV-User-Profile or by detecting the flat TV!? So my question is: Does exist any solution for this problem? Is the only comfortable way a dual boot system of Windows 7 with 2 different dpi values? Thanks for Help. David

Problem solved: Windows 7 Home Enterprise supports now a user specific dpi value. So I created a special user for each working mode an everything is fine. David
