Problems with bluetooth, safely remove & charging icon in Win 7
Specifications of my system: Samsung NP R440 JA01IN - Notebook Core I3- 2.27 GHz 3 GB DDR3 320 GB SATA Windows 7 Home Basic Anti-avira antivirus free edition I'm facing issues with my bluetooth, devvices & printers window, safely remove and the charging icon in my system tray: 1. My bluetooth fails to respond de despite the radio turned on, and try as I may I'm neither able to open it's properties nor able to add a bluetooth device. 2. When I try to open Devices and printers window, the window opens up but that symbol of searching appears and nothing happens and it sort of stays frozen there. 3. Wheen I try and safely remove any device plugged in to my USB port, it doesn't display any pop up menu on either left click or right click. 4. The charging icon which is displayed in the system tray doesn't automatically change the status from fully charged to the battery current status and vice versa, and I've to right click on it and then only it chhanges it's status. Now, all the above things happen simultaneously, and ocassionally all these things get sorted out automatically on the restart of the system. For fixing this issue, I've tried updating my drivers to the latest ones available on my manufacturer's website & ran a virus scan as well, but nothing has made any difference

Some Registry keys may be removed by mistake. The most possible cause can be the antivirus. Some options may not be set properly. To repair the system, run In-place Upgrade. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Hi Arthur, Thanks for replying. I've according to me zeroed down to the exact problem. The problem according to me is either with the driver of my bluetooth adapter (broadcom) or with the hardware itself. The reason I say this is because, as soon as I disabled and enabled my bluetooth adapter from device manager, everything started working normally. I've already tried uninstalling and installing the bluetooth drivers from my manufacturer's website but to no avail. I am of the opinion that may be at the time of booting of Windows, sometimes the bluetooth drivers are not loaded correctly, as on some occassions bluetooth works and sometimes it doesn't. But, by disabling and enabling bluetooth, it always works.

What is the model of the computer? You may need to download the bluetooth adapter driver from the OEM website. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
