Problems with Windows 7 Unicode Font Rendering
Hi, I have peculiar issue with Windows Font Rendering. Windows 7 seems to support the display only one script block of a Multi-Lingual Font (Such as Arial Unicode MS, Code2000) at a time. The other script blocks in the same font are not rendered properly at all. http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll301/vinodhrajan/Screenshot-FontRendering.png But the font has full support for all the blocks. Is it an issue with the latest Uniscribe Engine ? V

Hi,Install the latest display card driver or reinstall it to check the result. In case any software running background has conflict with it, I suggest prepare clean boot to test. This method will help us determine if this issue is caused by a loading program or service. Refer to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135===============1. Click the Start Button and type "msconfig" (without quotation marks) in the Search Box and press Enter.2. Click Continue to verify the permission.3. Select the Services tab in the open window. Check the “Hide all Microsoft Services” option and click Disable All.4. Switch to the Startup tab and click Disable All.5. Click OK to save the settings and select Restart when prompted.6. Check whether or not the issue still occurs. Note: Temporarily disabling the Startup Group only prevents the startup programs from loading at startup. This shouldn't adversely affect the system or other programs. We can still manually run these programs later.

Nope. Even after clean booting the issue persists. V

Check this out:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arial_Unicode_MSUnder the bug section, it says "All versions of Arial Unicode MS deal with double-width diacritic characters incorrectly".
