Problems with MRT and Security essentials?
Hi I recently did an windows update and now, whenever I start my machine both the security center and then microsoft security essentials give me warnings. Firstly the security center tries to tell me i've got 5 different unknown trojans running (which i don't, i've checked) and then tries to make me pay by sending me to a billing page, then secuirty essentials flags MRTW.EXE as a possible threat. What's going on, there's no option to remove MRT from the machine and to put it politely it's very, very annoying. I've scanned and re-scanned with SE, but it's only MRTW.EXE that comes up. Please help me!!!!1 person needs an answerI do too

That's not the Windows Security Center, and Microsoft Security Essentials is right about it being a threat. The fake security center is a rogue security program that pretends to find infected files on your computer and tries to get you to pay for the program. Don't do it! To close its window, click red "X" in the title bar at the top of the window or press Alt-F4 on the keyboard.Let Microsft Security Essentials remove the MRTW.EXE infection. Then, download and run these programs: Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool Malwarebytes' Anti-MalwareFor more detailed help, go to the malware removal forum at Aumha , see the spyware and malware removal guides at BleepingComputer.com , or call 1-866-PC Safety for Microsoft's free virus and spyware removal help.Boulder Computer Maven Microsoft Most Valuable Professional

This is Malware for sure. Also to remove this restart your PC and press F8 key repeatedly and then log in safemode with networking and then login to:http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htmAnd run full system scan.To prevent infection in future use Anti-Malware software such as Microsoft Security Essentials:http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/default.aspx
