Problems changing domain user password on Vista Business 32 bit on sbs 2003 domain
Hi There One of my customers can't change his password on a Vista workstation, he gets an error that its the wrong password. This only happens on the customers 1 Vista workstation on his XP workstations there are no problems at all. SBS 2003 server is fully MS Updated, and Vista workstation is also fully updated. The Vista user claims that is has been possible at least once to change the password before. Password policy says that users must change password every 92 days, Vista workstation also prompted user, but he can't change it. Any ideas ? Kind Regards Kim

Hi Kim, Thanks for posting! Did he receive any error message? Before changing to a new password, it is required to type the old one properly. I would like to confirm if the customer typed the proper one. In addition, ss this forum focuses on Windows Vista specific issues, this inquiry would best be posted to Windows Small Business Server forum: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/smallbusinessserver/threads The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us.
