Problem with your user profile
I have noticed on SBS 08 with roaming profiles turned off and SBS 03 where we never use roaming profiles that I occasionally get the following error. "USER PROFILE SERVICE - there was a problem with your user profile you have been logged on with your previously saved local profile. Please see the event log for details or contact your administrator." It doesn't seem to actually cause any issues but it keeps commimg up and the users think there is a problem. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Thanks Robert WigginsRobert Wiggins

Hi, Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet forums. If you have NVIDIA Display Driver installed, try disabling the NVIDIA Display Driver Service to check the result. Thanks for the response and I apologize for the delay. We don't have the Nvida driver installed and now I notice it is happening on server 03 machines as well. Should I be posting this in the server forum? the common thread is SBS 08. Thanks for the help.Robert Wiggins

Hi, I had such issue with a Windows 7 pro OEM 32bit Pt_Br version and also with a Vista Bussiness both running completely diverse hardware config . Diferent users got that message randomly. Struggled with this for months. It only stopped on both systems when I removed Google updater software, which were present on both machines. I can't tell if it your case since your running windows server but just check if you have Google updater installed on those 3 systems. Sorry for any possible English mistakes. Duchamm - SP - Brazil

Hi, Yes, I believe so. As this issue has Server side closely involved, it is suggested to post to SBS support: http://www.microsoft.com/sbs/en/us/support-options.aspx The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding. Regards, Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
