Problem with sound after changing user
There appears to be a bug in Windows 7. After changing user, the new user still hears the sound from the old user. The sounds could be from a song being played or noises from a page in IE8. Surely the sounds from the previous user should be muted when changing user.

I am not an expert for the sound config but I think that if you will perform a repair install for your operating system, you problem will be solved. Have a look to this article, it will help you to perform a such operation: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html Best regards.

Hi, Are you trying to switch user or log off? If you’re switching user, the situation you described is by default as a multi-user interface. The system separates the two user as different single one in order to provide different information set by each users. If you’re logging off, this could be an issue we need further research.
