Problem with scheduler 0x8007007a
Task scheduler won't work. It gives me the message it could not start and the error code 0x8007007a. There are several web suggestions for dealing with this. I have gone into control panel, admin tools, computer managment, services and applications, services, Task Scheduler and verified that started, set to automatic and local system account allows service to interact with desktop. In startup, I ran cmd. and ran startstoptaskscheduler.bat which was the following program: @echo off net stop "Net Logon" net stop "Windows Time" net stop "Task Scheduler" Net start "Windows Time" Net start "Net Logon" Net start "Task Scheduler" @ping -n 901 127.0.0.1>nul @echo You may set account info for the new task and schedule additional tasks. I also waited 15 minutes to give the system time to clear memory. I ran the hotfix for this error on the microsoft website. Nothing makes any difference. And I am no closer to understanding what is wrong. I am fully up to date on microsoft XP sp3, with the exception of office geniune advantage notifications which fails to download and gives an error message. <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!-- Session data--></input> <input id="jsProxy" onclick="jsCall();" type="hidden" />1 person needs an answerI do too
