Problem with remote desktop
Hi, I want to connet to a external server, which is out from my domain. I can do this form my pc (w7 x64) with my user who is domain administrator. But, if I do this from other w7 x64 with my user I can't connect to that external server. I've no problem to connect to other servers from my domain. I've checked the same with a windows xp but the same problem:"Perhaps the server is shudown, etc" (the server is running, of course). Can anybody help me. Thanks in advance. Regards.

Use network monitor to analyze your attempts to connect to externel server. Free Wireshark will do the job. Problem may stem from firewall settings, DNS settings, wrong account syntax, etc Rgds Milos

Hi Milos, windows firewall is disabled. And the DNS settings and the account syntax is correct because, I'm using the same syntax in my pc and it's working fine. I'm trying to do a telnet to the ip with the 3389 port but it's giving me an error...
