I recently downloaded and installed windows 7, I saved my product key but stupidly forgot to print it before installation, so when the product key prompt came up I didnt have a product key to give it, I clicked continue and to my surprise it let me continue with no problem. However I have been told that there are several updates that have made available and my version has not done any, I imagine it has to do with the lack of a product key. How can I enter the product key? do I have to re-install? I tried the send feedback link and it said I could enter it in later but when I clicked it again on my next session it did not ask me for a product key. Any ideas?

I believe thet the Beta downloads and product keys are still available (until Feb10th apparently) from the MS downloads sites so you should be able to sign in andobtain a new key from there.

You can enter the product key by right clicking on computer and selecting properties. At the bottom of the screen select change product key.After entering the key it will try to activate over the internet. I have been able to get all updates without entering the key or activating.
