Problem with network computers at Licenced Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 32-bit
Hello, we have a problem with network at 1 computer who dont see other computers and printers in network sharing. On that computer is installed Licenced Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 32-bit. The problem is can't view in My Network Places other computers who have shared folders to view/edit files, and cant print on local printer who is connected by lan cable. That problem is just in 1 computer, in other 4 computers we have installed 1x Licenced Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 32-bit and 3x Licenced Microsoft Windows XP Professional 32-bit SP2 who work without problems. I can not find where the problem, because is the same way in installation in first Licence Windows 7 Professional 32-bit who work perfect, but in second licence have problem in network. I have internet but dont have local network. Use Workgroup. What to do to fix that, and to work without that problem. Thanks.

Hi, Before going any further, I want to verify what error message is received when you use printers or share folders in network? Can other pc view this PC on workgroup? It seems that you don’t enable Network Discovery. Please following steps to enable: Click Start->Control Panel->Network and Sharing Center, click Change advanced sharing settings. Enable the option. Also it might be setting issue, you can refer: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-7/share-files-and-printers-between-windows-7-and-xp/ Please Note: Since the website is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information. If the issue persists, try to ping other pc and check the result. Also try to entering \\ipaddress or \\computername in the Search Box to see if it works properly. Hope it helps.
